G-Able teams up with Chulalongkorn Business School in prepping new gens for digital workforce

G-Able Public Company Limited and Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy or Chulalongkorn Business School (CBS) co-signed an MOU on technical collaboration to support the Thai education system in the digital era in terms of technology, skills and knowledge, and employment opportunities. The aim is to forge a quality workforce of new generations for society in line with fast-changing technologies.

Dr. Chaiyuth Chunnahacha, CEO of G-Able Public Company Limited, a leading “Tech Enabler” that helps businesses embrace every aspect of digitalization, said, “Currently, all-sector businesses have witnessed rapid changes, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic which has catalyzed transformation to avert business disruptions. Similarly, the education sector has seen the need to adapt itself by developing students’ skills in line with future educational and work directions. Graduates, regardless of fields of study, should have innovation and technology skills that enable new developments. Realizing the magnitude of students’ skills development and technology promotion, G-Able joined hands with Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy in supporting the digital-era Thai education system and building quality personnel of new generations for society.”

Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat stated, “The success of the collaboration between Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy and G-Able Public Company Limited is achieved through the synergic partnership between an academic institution and an expert in digital technology. Through this phenomenon, students in business fields will be equipped with skills in technology and enhanced capabilities to rise to the ever-changing digital world.  Students will gain experience from university classes and on-the-job trainings at leading companies. They will learn about the spirit of giving and positive thinking to become a quality workforce for society.”   

 

 

This collaboration marks another milestone in providing experiential learning opportunities for undergraduates to gain expertise in business innovations. G-Able will sponsor digital technology in terms of tools and experts to support learning courses, research, and other special activities. Moreover, there are internship programs available for third-year students and job opportunities for graduates.    

 

The Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy will develop learning courses, provide research advice and guidelines, and enhance students’ capacity through academic classes, research and other special activities. Learning by doing and real-world business experience will prepare students for working in the digital age.   

 

This great partnership not only promotes the education sector’s resilience to changes, but also paves the way for a workforce with skills in technology to embrace a digital working life. In the longer term, businesses of different industries will have a quality workforce of young talents to advance the Thai economy.
